Welcome to the Transcom Blog: Where Reliability Meets Real Relationships
By Sara Aguila, CEO & Chief Relationship Officer, Transcom Solutions
Welcome to the first post on the Transcom blog. This is a space I have wanted to create for some time, not as another company update, but as a genuine channel of communication with the adjusters, nurse case managers, TPAs, and carriers who trust us with their injured workers every day. Too often, our conversations happen only when something has gone wrong. This blog is intended to change that, giving us a place to connect and share value well before an urgent need arises.
Consider this the first of many. Future posts will come not only from me, but from the coordinators, interpreters, drivers, and teammates who keep thousands of appointments running smoothly every day. I wanted to begin, however, because before we discuss what we do, I want to explain why we do it.
Where We Started
Transcom was founded on a simple premise: transportation and language are not administrative details in a workers' compensation claim, they can be the barrier itself. An injured worker who cannot get to a medical appointment or an IME does not receive care on schedule. One who cannot be understood by their provider does not receive the right care at all. Either delays recovery and prolongs the claim, which is why this coordination has to be handled by people who understand what is actually at stake, not read from a script by whoever answers the phone. That premise remains the reason we exist today.
What has changed is our scale. We have grown from a small, hands-on team into a nationwide provider trusted with tens of thousands of appointments each year. Growth, however, has never been the objective in itself. It matters only because it means more injured workers reach their appointments and are understood in the language they speak, allowing them to focus on recovery, on returning to their lives, and on returning to their vocation.
What Sets Transcom Apart
Here is what I want you to understand about our organization. We do not attempt to do everything. We provide transportation and language services within workers' compensation, exclusively. Not durable medical equipment, not physical therapy, not home health, and not the dozen other line items many vendors bundle together under ancillary services.
This focus is intentional. It ensures that our team's full attention is directed toward two priorities: getting your injured worker to their appointment, and ensuring they understand what happens once they arrive. We are not a rideshare application dispatching an unfamiliar driver, nor are we a single
line item competing for attention within a larger platform. We are a dedicated coordinator who knows your account, your claimants, and your expectations.
This commitment is reflected in how we measure our performance: a 99%+ appointment success rate, a three-point confirmation process on every trip, transparent billing with no dead miles and no hidden fees, and a guarantee we stand behind. When we are at fault for a missed appointment, we cover the cost of the rescheduled service. This is not a promotional offer; it is simply how we conduct business.
And if you have not yet sent us a referral, we want to make that first step an easy one: your first trip with us is on us. See how we handle the confirmation process, the communication, and the follow-through firsthand, at no cost and no obligation. We would rather earn the relationship than ask you to take our word for it.
Underlying all of this is an element no metric can fully capture: we treat every claimant as a person, not a file. Team members such as Emmanuel Deossa on our Dedicated Accounts team ensure that no injured worker feels like merely another name on a schedule. This is the part of our work that does not appear on an invoice, and it is the part of which I am most proud.
What You Can Expect on This Blog
This blog is where we will put that philosophy into practice, sharing genuine operational insight rather than routine company news. A few of the recurring series you can expect to see:
Logistics Minute: practical guidance drawn directly from our coordinators, addressing questions such as how to determine the appropriate transport for a non-ambulatory injured worker or what most commonly causes a missed appointment.
Team Member Spotlights: an introduction to the people behind the work: drivers, interpreters, and coordinators who consistently go above and beyond, in their own words.
Conference & Industry Insight Recaps: our key takeaways from FL RIMS, WCI, National Comp, and other industry events, focused on insights that matter to you.
Plus a few more: recurring features such as The Save, Ask an Adjuster, and By the Numbers, drawn from real stories and real data across the accounts we manage nationwide.
Our goal across all of this content is the same: to make this the resource that professionals in workers' compensation choose to read, not because we are seeking attention, but because we consistently provide something of value.
One More Way to Stay in Touch
The blog will not be the only way we stay in touch. Throughout the year, we also send interactive email campaigns of our own: quick polls, seasonal predictions, and the occasional question we are genuinely curious to hear your answer to. Every response is entered into a monthly raffle, because staying connected with the people who trust us with their injured workers should be enjoyable, not only informative. Sign up below to receive the blog and these campaigns together, so you never miss a chance to weigh in, or to win.

Let's Build This Together
If there is a topic you would like us to address, a question you have long wanted a transportation and language partner to answer candidly, or an experience from your own work with our team, I would welcome hearing from you. Please reach out, share a comment, or send your thoughts my way directly. This blog succeeds only as a genuine dialogue.
Thank you for being part of the Transcom community. We are glad you are here.
Sincerely,
Sara Aguila
